Live and let live. Personally, I don't care what brand of bike someone rides or which gender is riding it. The reason for riding is to have fun and enjoy ourselves. I wave at all my fellow/gal motorcycle riders I pass on the road, and so far all have returned the 'howdy'. I do not feel that is is necessary for me to defend or justify my reasons for purchasing a Savage LS650. I looked at alot of different bikes before I make my decision. And for the record, I went to a Harley shop and talked with the owner/mechanic. He was a very nice, older man. I sat on several smaller Harleys but none of them seemed to 'feel' quite right. My comment to him was,'I really like the cruiser style of the bike, wish it fit'. He said,'Ya know, Suzuki makes a little cruiser called the Savage, it's a big single, a buddy of mine has one and really likes it'. His concern was that I get a bike that fit and I could safely enjoy, how refreshing.
